Clinical Supervision

Supervision provides an important safeguard to professional practice whilst enhancing the individual's personal and professional development. As an experienced practitioners and clinical supervisors, we provide supervision to nurses in a variety of differing roles and contexts. This can be through a one to one or group forum.

Supervision provides a formalised relationship of challenge and support, and a structured process of describing, analysing and applying learning. Through supervision, the supervisee explores issues from their day to day world of practice. Critical analysis allows the individual to explore scenarios from differing perspectives in order to develop greater insight and understanding. Synthesis and evaluation allows the individual to articulate this learning and to apply this to their future professional practice.
